PingBeacon monitors websites and servers you choose and alerts you when they go down. This policy explains exactly what we store, why, and how to get rid of it.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, health data, browsing history, or the content of the pages we check beyond the single keyword you explicitly ask us to look for. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
The security grade shown for a monitor is produced only from information any visitor to that site can see: the TLS certificate and protocol version, the HTTP response headers, cookie flags, and public DNS records (SPF, DMARC). PingBeacon does not attempt to log in, submit forms, probe for vulnerabilities, or send any traffic a normal browser would not send.
The free tier shows ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your region you will be asked for consent (GDPR/UK) and, on iOS, whether the app may track you (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you still get the app and the ads simply become non-personalised. To choose which ads to show, AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier (only where you allowed it), the IP address — from which it estimates an approximate location — and basic interaction and performance data such as ad views and app launches. Google's handling of ad data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms. Pro subscribers see no ads at all.
Only the processors we need to run the product: Google Firebase (authentication and push delivery), Google AdMob (ads on the free tier), RevenueCat (subscription state), and our own servers in the United States (Chicago), hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Each receives only what its job requires. If you are in the EEA or UK, your data is therefore processed in the United States.
Individual check results are kept for 90 days; incident history and monthly uptime summaries are kept for as long as your account exists. Delete a monitor and its results go with it. Server logs roll off after 30 days.
You can delete any monitor from inside the app at any time. To delete your entire account and everything attached to it, open Settings → Delete account in the app — this erases your monitors, check history, incidents and settings from our servers immediately (database backups roll off within 14 days). Step-by-step instructions are also at api.pingbeacon.app/delete-account. You can also email gulerr.dogukann@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, or — if you are still anonymous — send us the account ID shown in Settings. We erase it within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR also gives you the right to access, correct, export and object to the processing of your data; the same address handles those requests.
PingBeacon is a tool for site owners and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
